By using skrat.im and krat.im (the “service”) you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple.
What the service does
The service shortens addresses, redirects to them, generates QR codes, counts clicks and provides an API. It is free and has no ads. An account is optional.
What is prohibited
You may not use the service for links that lead to:
- phishing, scams or sites impersonating others,
- malware, unwanted downloads or exploitation of browser flaws,
- spam, unsolicited bulk messaging or circumventing blocks in other services,
- content that is illegal under the law of the Slovak Republic or the European Union,
- harassment or threats against specific people.
Automated link creation beyond the API limits and any attempt to disrupt the service are prohibited as well.
What we may do
A link that violates these terms or is reported as harmful may be disabled or deleted without notice. In case of repeated abuse we may disable all links from the same source and close the account. A disabled link says so on its page.
What you can expect
We try to keep the service running continuously, but we do not guarantee availability or uninterrupted operation of links. The service is provided “as is”; we are not liable for damage arising from its use or for the content of destination pages. The person who created a link is responsible for its destination.
Links last indefinitely until you delete them or set an expiry. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the service; in that case we will announce it on the home page well in advance.
API and limits
The API is free and its limits are described in the documentation. Limits may change. An API key is secret; its holder is responsible for its use.
